Pre-requisites for Macromedia Training Classes

Prior to attending any of Encore CBT Company's authorized Macromedia training classes, you should be comfortable using standard Windows functions. We assume that you are familiar with these functions; time will not be spent covering them during class. You should be able to answer the following questions:
  1. What functions do the three standard buttons in the top right corner of a window perform? *
  2. What are two ways you can use your mouse to select more than one element from the screen? *
  3. What is the difference between the File/New option and the File/Open option? *
  4. What function is used to delete an element from the screen and save it to the Windows clipboard? *
  5. What function is used to place an element from the Windows clipboard to the screen? *
  6. What function is used to save an element on the screen to the clipboard? *
  7. What is the name of the standard pull-down menu that contains the "Save" function? *
  8. What is the name of the standard pull-down menu that allows you to find and/or replace text? *
  9. How do you save a file to a diskette? *
  10. How do you to make an object appear in front of another object on the screen? *
  11. What is the name of the option that allows you to make an object appear behind another object on the screen? *
  12. How is the "Save" function different from the "Save As..." function? *
  13. What is the name of the Edit option that allows you to select every element on the screen? *
  14. How does the Backspace key on the keyboard function differently from the Left Arrow key? *
  15. If you have multiple Windows applications running at the same time, name at least two ways to switch from one to another? *
If you can not answer these questions, we strongly recommend that you take a basic Windows class before registering for any of our Macromedia training classes.
