AuthorwarePlayer Error Msg:
Access is denied

Problem:
While trying to view an Authorware demo on this website, you may get the following error message:

Access is denied

This often happens with the Vista operating system in combinatioin with Internet Explorer 7 (IE7), while trying to use the AuthorwarePlayer ActiveX control to view Authorware content online.

Solution:
You must add the website to your 'Trusted Domains'.

Step 1: In IE7, access Internet Options option under Tools.

Select Internet Options

Step 2: Click on the Security tab:

Select Security tab

Step 3: Select Trusted sites.

Select Trusted sites

Step 4: Click the Sites button.

Step 5: Type the full URL address of the web site, and click Add.

Add web site to Trusted sites

Step 6: Close your way out of the dialog.

Hopefully, that'll do it. Now the AuthorwarePlayer will no longer produce the Access is denied alert box for the added site. Got more sites? Then you'll need to add them too.
